Tobi Rouse – Youth Director

Tobi and her husband, Stephen, have been with Christ Community Church since 1999.  They moved to Ashburn from Centreville in 1997 as part of Tobi’s new job with Young Life.  While in Centreville, Tobi was a volunteer leader with Young Life at Centreville High School.  During that time, she felt God’s calling to work full time with youth.  Loudoun County had a need for a church partner, and so, Tobi accepted the opportunity.

In 1999, Tobi left her church partnership position but continued to work with Young Life.  After moving to Christ Community, Tobi began volunteering as a youth leader in Soulfire, the youth program.  She has served under three Youth Pastor’s at Christ Community, focusing mainly on small group and one on one discipleship.  In January of 2009, Tobi become Christ Community’s Youth Director.  While this expanded role has required her to be more large group focused, Tobi continues to meet in small groups and one on one with both present and past students.

Tobi and Stephen have four children, the oldest of which joins Soulfire this fall.
