Dear Parents,
We had an exciting first Sunday last week! Please be patient with us as we work all the “kinks” out. Here are a some updates/instructions for the coming weeks:
- Checking In – Starting this week please check-in all children in birth – 3rd grade at the Children’s Ministry (CM) Wing Welcome Table when you arrive for church, before the Worship Serivce. Parents and children will be given matching wristbands. You will need to show these wristbands to pick up your children at the end of the morning. Children who are four years old- 3rd grade will go into the Worship Service with their parents and will be dismissed for PromiseKids Children’s Chuch during the sevice. For babies and toddlers, parents may take them to the Nursery (see below for Nursery Instructions).
- Nursery – you may drop off children birth – 3yrs begining at 9:20. Please do not go into the Nursery room, just hand the volunteers your child and their bag over the gate at the door. If you are concerned about how your child is doing in the nursery, please have the Volunteer working at the CM Welcome desk check for you. It is very disrupting to the children to have parents either coming in and out or even looking in to the nursery. Their care and safety is our top priority.
- PromiseKids Children’s Church – children 4yrs – 3rd grade will be dismissed around 10am, after the singing portion of our Worship Service. We will bring them back to the CM Wing for PromiseKids. They will have their Children’s Church time, a snack and then at 11am will be taken to their Sunday School classroom by their teachers. ** This Sunday only, children in 1st-5th grades will be attending Cody Andersen’s presentation during the Sunday School hour in the Sanctuary with their parents. Children in Preschool and Kindergarten will have their regular SS class.
- Picking Up Your Children – after the Sunday School hour you may come to the CM Welcome Desk. Show your wristband and your child will be brought to you.
Sunday Schedule:
- 9:20 am – Check in children ages 3rd grade and down at the CM Welcome Table. Drop babies and toddlers off in Nursery after checking in.
- 9:30 am – Worship Service
- 10:00am – Children dismissed to go to PromiseKids Children’s Church
- 10:45 am – Snack wil be served to children
- 11:00 am – Sunday School – teachers will bring children to their SS Classrooms
- 12:00 pm – Pick up all children at CM Welcome Desk
