Sam and Rachel Paulson
Sam and Rachel are from India and came to this country to pursue a career in electronics. They have three children. Paul, a graduate from WBC and CBS, is a counselor by training. Timothy is a medical student and plans to go back to India as a doctor. Susan and her husband are assisting Sam in ministry.
After graduating from WBC and CBS, Sam felt called back to India to plant churches. He has been the Director for Pioneers-India since 1982. The Lord has blessed his work so that today there are about 150 Church plants and over 100 national pastors serving the churches. He also directs a continuing training program for national pastors. There is a vibrant children ministry and other outreach ministries. He also coordinates several self supporting projects, one being the raising of water buffalos. Four are ready to give birth to new calves in a few months.
Several supporting churches have provided funds for a training facility. Sam also has a very supportive Indian board. The ministry frequently experiences persecution and assaults on their training facilities. A recent letter told of attacks on their power and electrical supply. They are always in need of funds for the training program and overall ministry. Sam and Rachel continue to rejoice in God’s call upon their lives and in serving our risen Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ.
